  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (or substitute like coconut sugar)

  • 8 tablespoons butter (or dairy-free alternative), melted & cooled

  • ½ cup plain yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt)

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest (freshly grated)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon extract (for extra lemon flavor)

  • 1½ cups fresh blueberries, washed (plus extra for topping if desired)

  • 2 tablespoons turbinado (raw cane) sugar (for sprinkling on top)
